Is Victorious the UK’s best value festival?25th June 2018
Victorious Festival have today revealed figures showing it to be one of the UK’s best value festivals this summer.
Admittedly, a festival’s value is hard to quantify, but we usually settle for a crude measure of ticket prices against the number of acts.
Last summer, V Festival was found to be the worst value for money by this measure, weighing in at £1.50 per artist. Glastonbury was by far the best value. Despite the top-level ticket price, it’s astonishing 1644 artists average that out to 15p each.
Bestival ranked a distant second place last year at 53p per artist, so with Glasto taking its fallow year this summer, Victorious certainly have a claim to being one of the UK’s best value for money festivals.
The Libertines, Kaiser Chiefs, and Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys will also feature at Victorious. The UK’s biggest metropolitan festival takes place August bank holiday weekend on Southsea seafront, Portsmouth.
Notably, all the Kids Arena attractions and activities are included.
