10th September 2018 Off By

Europe’s biggest student festival Spring Break Amsterdam will be popping-up at Fresher’s Fairs across the UK, offering students discounts on its popular festival ticket.

Students attending fairs at universities in Manchester, Plymouth, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff can receive 40% off the £50 deposit (required to secure a 2019 festival ticket), plus Spring Break Amsterdam goodies including an official festival t-shirt (worth £15) and posters, all for free!

7,000 students from the UK attended the festival in 2018, which took place in Amsterdam’s leading nightclubs, Melkweg, Air, Escape, Club NYX and Claire and featured sets from Big Narstie, Chase & Status and My Nu Leng.

The festival is now looking to recruit even more students for the expanded 2019 event (7 – 9 April and 14 – 16 April), to take them on a trip of discovery and unforgettable experiences.

Students wanting to make the trip to Amsterdam to experience Spring Break in all its glory should seek out the festival’s stands on the following dates:

  • 18th September – Plymouth University
  • 19th September – Birmingham City University
  • 21st September – University of West England, Bristol
  • 25th September – Cardiff University
  • 28th September – Bristol University
  • 2nd October – St David’s Shopping Centre, Cardiff

To cater for the huge demand of the sell-out 2018 event, organisers will expand the festival to now take place over two weeks in 2019 (7 – 9April and 14 – 16 April), featuring dozens of events, pub crawls and boat parties. Guests simply choose their preferred dates, both featuring the same lineup.

Although the lineup for Spring Break Amsterdam 2019 is yet to be announced, students can rest easy knowing that the biggest names in grime, garage and house music have previously graced its stages.

Chase & Status, My Nu Leng, Sub Focus, Artful Dodger, Big Narstie, CamelPhat, Chris Lorenzo, DJ Luck & MC Neat, General Levy, High Contrast, Jaguar Skills, Sam Divine, Skepsis and The Heatwave are just a few names to have featured.
