Update 18th March: Glastonbury 2020 has been cancelled due to coronavirus. As such, this page will no longer be updated. More info.
Six pairs of tickets to Glastonbury’s 50th-anniversary are up for grabs in a new competition from Carlsberg and the Co-op.
To enter the prize draw, you won’t need to hunt down promotional packs. Instead, you’ll need to buy either a four-pack or a ten-pack of 440ml Carlsberg cans from any Co-op Food store and make sure you keep the receipt.
Then, go to the competition page on Carlsberg’s website and enter the four-digit transaction ID number or TXN from the bottom of your receipt before 12th May 2020. It’s one entry per person, so you won’t gain an advantage through buying a few crates.
Once the competition has closed, six winners will be drawn randomly by a computer and each will receive a pair of tickets to Glastonbury 2020, set to take place from June 24th – 28th. You’ll need to be at least 18 to enter the competition, and should you win, the T&C’s say whoever you bring will also need to be over 18.
Winners will be contacted by 19th May, though if any winners can’t go or don’t claim their prize within 14 days, a replacement winner could be drawn.
Another competition from Mallets Cider is giving away 10 pairs of Glastonbury tickets through codes on promotional packs. Get more info on our updated Glastonbury competitions list.
Kendrick Lamar, Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift will headline and over 70 other artists from the line-up were confirmed on Thursday night. Last week, organisers moved to reassure fans they are planning as normal despite the coronavirus outbreak.
Glastonbury tickets sold out in 27 minutes back in October, though any cancelled tickets will be sold again in resales on Thursday 16th and Sunday 19th April. Alternatively, you could try volunteering!
