For the first time, Boardmasters will host an after-party every day for the duration of the festival – that’s a massive five days and five nights of music entertainment. Boardmasters Presents will take place at two of Newquay’s biggest nightspots: Berties is a 2,000-capacity venue across three rooms, named one of the town’s top three biggest clubs and one of the best nightclubs in Cornwall. Just down the road, Sailors is a 1,200-capacity club spread over two rooms and boasting a roof terrace with late-night Newquay Bay views. Also reaching the top three biggest clubs in Newquay, Sailors has undergone a recent, major refurbishment, transforming the venue and cementing it as a must-attend clubbing destination in Cornwall.

Boardmasters’ after-parties have previously played host to some of the biggest names in dance music, including Shy FX, Nathan Dawe, Andy C, Bou, Jax Jones, Mistajam, Tom Zanetti, and this year will be no exception.

Boardmasters Presents will kick off on Wednesday 9 August at Berties, with Luude, the Aussie electro-dance sensation who blew up on TikTok with his viral remix of Down Under. Plus, he’ll be joined by the incredible Charlie Tee, the first permanent female host of BBC Radio 1’s drum’n’bass show, who is expected to bring an infectious, high-energy set, laden with late-night bangers.

On Thursday, the party continues in Berties, as the unstoppable Ben Hemsley gets ready to drop his tantalising sounds and feel-good anthems. With sold-out back-to-back shows including Blackstone Street Warehouse, massive sets at Printworks London and dropping Annie Mac’s final-ever mini mix, the Ben Hemsley hype is real. He’ll be joined by special guests – watch this space to find out who!

Boardmasters Presents then lands at Sailors for Friday night’s party, with Girls Don’t Sync – the female DJ collective made up on Matty Chiabi, G33, Sophia Violet and Hannah Lynch who’ve taken the scene by storm with previous sets for Boiler Room and more. Known for their legendary parties, the army of female DJs is set to raise the roof. They’ll be joined by Cornwall’s own Charlie Boon who is locked, loaded and ready to take the party into the early hours.

That’s not all, as Saturday’s line-up also includes the Irish duo and Make Me Feel Good hitmakers, Belters Only. With both acts having performed at The Point at Boardmasters last summer, they make a welcome return to Cornwall.

On the final day of the festival, Sunday night at Sailors is set to bring Boardmasters to an epic close for another year, with BBC Radio 1’s own Danny Howard, a legend in the game, on the decks, with special guests in tow (to be revealed very soon) sure to put on an unforgettable night packed with the biggest dance anthems.

Boardmasters Presents is strictly aged 18+, running from 22:30 – 4:00 from Wednesday 9 – Sunday 13 August 2023. Attendees from the festival site at Watergate Bay can make their way to and from Newquay town centre using the Boardmasters Shuttle Bus which runs until 4:30.
