GRAMMY-nominated rock band I Prevail have released their new single, ‘Annihilate Me’, accompanied by a new lyric video. The track is the fourth song to be taken from their upcoming fourth studio album, Violent Nature, which is set for release on 19th September 2025 via Fearless Records.
The new record marks a significant chapter for the band, with frontman Eric Vanlerberghe taking on all lead vocal duties, covering both clean and unclean styles. The singles released so far, including ‘Rain’ and the album’s title track, showcase this new direction, with ‘Annihilate Me’ described as an emotionally raw and sonically powerful track with a cathartic, anthemic chorus.
Speaking on the new song, Vanlerberghe said: “‘Annihilate Me’ feels like one of the most I Prevail songs on the album. It’s about opening yourself up over and over again only to keep getting cut down, but regardless of how many times you’ve been pushed down you’re going to push yourself further – even if that means your own annihilation.”
The album was produced entirely by the band’s bassist, Jon Eberhard. Fans can catch the band live this summer as they head to Europe for a series of select festival dates following their current tour across North America.

Today, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated rock band I Prevail released the new single “Annihilate Me.” This is the fourth single off their upcoming record, Violent Nature, set for release 19th September 2025 via Fearless Records. With a slow-burn intensity that erupts into a cathartic chorus, “Annihilate Me” showcases I Prevail at their most emotionally raw and sonically powerful. The track builds with haunting precision before unleashing a hard-hitting, anthemic release that fans of heavy music will feel in their bones. With emotional depth and explosive energy, this isn’t just another rock song, it’s a purge.
Frontman Eric Vanlerberghe shared his thoughts on the new track: “‘Annihilate Me’ feels like one of the most I Prevail songs on the album. It’s about opening yourself up over and over again only to keep getting cut down, but regardless of how many times you’ve been pushed down you’re going to push yourself further – even if that means your own annihilation.”
Previous singles off the record include the vulnerable track “Rain,” the steadfast anthem “Into Hell,” and their heaviest song to date, “Violent Nature.” These singles mark a major turning point for the band as they usher in a new chapter with Vanlerberghe as the only lead singer tackling both clean and unclean vocals.

I Prevail is no stranger to pushing boundaries. This group has found great success with previous records over the past decade including their first album Lifelines that achieved gold status in both the US and Canada. 2019’s TRAUMA repeated that accomplishment in Canada just a few years later and was nominated for Best Rock Album at that year’s Grammys, with their single “Bow Down” also a contender for Best Metal Performance. 2022’s TRUE POWER saw the band continue to forge their own musical path, refusing to conform to the expectations of the genre, and instead demonstrating just how much of a tour de force I Prevail’s music is.
