The London Vegan Fayre returns to Kensington Town Hall this Saturday, December 6th, promising a massive celebration of plant-based living. Running from 10am until 6pm, the event is set to feature an eclectic collective of independent traders, educational talks, and live entertainment. Limited tickets remain available in advance online, though organisers have confirmed a small allocation will be held back for attendees wishing to pay on the door.
This year’s event, dubbed “London Vegan Fayre 25,” is looking busy as it prepares to welcome a large crowd to the capital. While early bird “Buy One Get One Free” offers have now expired, tickets are still selling steadily as the venue nears capacity. The fayre boasts up to 70 stalls packed with goods, alongside two dedicated rooms for talks and a main stage featuring live music, comedy, and fireside chats.
Food is a central pillar of the event, with an outstanding collection of street food caterers confirmed to feed the hungry crowds. The diverse lineup includes Chinese cuisine from Gillie Foods and Lotus V, Caribbean dishes from Joys Caribbean, Turkish specialties from Erim’s Artistry, and The Holy Kitchen. For those with a sweet tooth, options range from cakes by Vegan Sweet Tooth and quiches from The Happy Sprout to cheesecakes from Chappers Cheesecakes and ice cream from the Soft Serve Cartel.
The main stage, hosted by Karin Ridgers of VeggieVision.TV, has a packed schedule of entertainment. Live music kicks off at midday with Vegan Queen V, followed later by the Animal Rights Choir at 3pm. A dedicated comedy hour features “Dawn Chorus” with Plant-Braced and Ishi Khan. Literary highlights include a fireside chat at 3:30pm with John King, author of The Football Factory and the AR-themed Peekaboo Bosh. The Vegan Womens Club will also gather for a special session at 2pm.
In Talks Room 1, the schedule focuses heavily on activism and effective communication. Highlights include a presentation by ethical vegan Jordi Casamitjana at 1pm and an in-depth interview with Animal Aid Director Iain Green. The afternoon features sessions on the “Plant Based Schools” campaign with Harley Brewer, and a talk by Dr Arielle Griffiths from Just Be Kind Dog Food regarding plant-based nutrition for companion animals.
Talks Room 2 offers a broad range of lifestyle and political topics. Juliette Bryant opens the room at 11am discussing medicinal mushrooms and immunity. At 1pm, Simon Russell, chair of the Hunt Sabs Association, will provide an insider’s perspective on current hunting bans and political moves. Later in the afternoon, Edward Daniel hosts a vegan cheesemaking masterclass at 2pm, followed by Keith Lessa from Vegan Accountants U.K. at 4pm, who will analyse why some vegan businesses thrive while others fail.
