The Haçienda Bangkok announces full line-up for January day festival

Hacienda

FAC51 The Haçienda has announced the full lineup for its highly anticipated return to Thailand later this month. The legendary brand will transform Ambience Space into a multi-room day festival on Saturday, 24th January, featuring a massive roster of electronic music icons including Basement Jaxx, Peter Hook, and 808 State.

This event marks a significant moment for the city’s cultural landscape, serving as the venue’s first event of this scale. With a strictly limited capacity of 2,000 attendees, the festival promises an intimate yet explosive atmosphere, celebrating the enduring musical connection between Manchester and Bangkok—a bond first forged in the 80s that continues to thrive on modern dancefloors.

Headlining the proceedings is a Bangkok debut DJ set from Basement Jaxx. The Brit Award-winning pioneers remain one of dance music’s most electrifying forces 25 years on from their seminal album Rooty, known for blending house, breaks, and carnival energy. Joining them is a very special guest appearance from Peter Hook. As the original owner of The Haçienda and founding architect of the Manchester sound through his bass playing in Joy Division and New Order, Hook brings a direct link to the club’s origins and spirit.

The lineup is stacked with Manchester royalty and forward-thinking selectors. 808 State, the acid house trailblazers, will perform alongside seminal Haçienda resident Jon Dasilva and LGBTQ+ pioneer DJ Paulette. The main roster is rounded out by deep house favourite Move D, Panorama Bar regular Huerta, and tech-funk innovator Liquid Earth, bridging the gap between legacy sounds and the future of the dancefloor.

Beyond the main stage, the festival utilizes Ambience Space to create distinct zones. Room 2 is hosted by Mixmag and Transport, uniting one of the world’s leading dance platforms with Bangkok’s longest-running underground party to celebrate Transport’s 10th Anniversary.

Room 3 will feature a Bangkok Collectives Showcase, highlighting local talent including Yellowfang, Pissawong, More Rice, Kangkao, and Romrom. This area will also host pop-up record stalls and official Haçienda merchandise. The event is produced with support from Maho Rasop, Bar Temp, Transport, and Bangkok Community Radio.
