80s pop legends Bananarama and broadcaster-turned-DJ Gok Wan have been announced as special guests for the Scissor Sisters’ massive outdoor summer show in Essex. The pop icons will join ‘The Kiki Continues’ tour at the Heritage Live festival taking place at Audley End Estate in Saffron Walden on Thursday, 6 August 2026.

The event promises to be one of the ultimate pop parties of the summer, continuing Scissor Sisters’ highly anticipated return to live music. The American band recently reunited to celebrate two decades of their iconic self-titled debut album, bringing their signature mix of unapologetic queer joy, glam, and grit back to the UK stage.

Tickets for the huge pop party are already on sale through HeritageLive.Seetickets.com. Gates to the Saffron Walden venue will open at 3:00pm, with the event scheduled to wrap up at 10:30pm. VIP packages are also available via the official Heritage Live website.

As part of the ticketing process, Scissor Sisters have partnered with PLUS1. This gives festival-goers the option to add a £1 donation at checkout to support Not A Phase, a charity dedicated to uplifting the lives of trans+ adults across the UK.

Fans heading down early will see Gok Wan get the party started behind the decks with a set filled with uplifting disco, feel-good anthems, and soulful house. He’ll be followed by pop royalty Bananarama, who hold a Guinness World Record for the most chart entries by an all-female group. Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward will bring a hit-packed set of timeless 80s classics like ‘Cruel Summer’ and ‘Venus’.

The headline act will see Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Del Marquis, and their band playing hits from their record-breaking 2004 debut. The album went 9x Platinum in the UK and led to the band making history in 2005 as the first act ever to win all three international categories at the BRIT Awards.

The Thursday night Scissor Sisters gig kicks off a massive weekend of live music at the Essex estate. Heritage Live has also confirmed the rest of its 2026 weekend headliners:

  • Friday 7 August: The Streets
  • Saturday 8 August: Pete Tong Ibiza Classics
  • Sunday 9 August: Faithless

The beautiful grounds of Audley End Estate have become a staple venue for outdoor summer concerts. Previous editions of the Heritage Live festival series have hosted massive names including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Madness, Simple Minds, Underworld, and Manic Street Preachers.
