Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival has confirmed the line-up for its 2027 Halloween Gathering at Whitby Pavilion, with Anja Huwe headlining Friday 29 October and New Model Army closing Saturday 30 October. The weekend runs from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 October 2027. Tickets went on general sale at midday on Monday 2 November, and are available here.
Friday also brings The Chameleons performing their 1983 album ‘Script of the Bridge’ in full, plus a first appearance at the festival from David J, the Bauhaus and Love & Rockets founding member, playing the Love & Rockets album ‘Earth . Sun . Moon’ alongside other songs from his back catalogue. Saturday’s very special guests are Heartworms, French post-punk and gothic rock band Corpus Delicti, and Glasgow darkwave and electronic act Mercy Girl. Mouth Ulcers open the live shows on Friday.
Huwe, best known as the singer of German post-punk and goth pioneers Xmal Deutschland, is making her first UK headline show since returning to the stage. She stepped away from music for decades before releasing the album ‘Codes’ in 2024, and has since headlined festivals across Europe. The festival says it has been trying to book her for several years. New Model Army return to Whitby and Tomorrow’s Ghosts for the first time since April 2023. It will be their third time topping the bill at the festival, and their first appearance in more than four years. The Chameleons, who last played the event in April 2019, are back for a full album set.
Friday tickets and Saturday tickets are £47.50 subject to booking fee. Weekend tickets are £95 subject to booking fee. The event is ages 8 and over. Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult over 18 at all times, and the after-show club nights are over-18s only. Evening shows open at 6pm, with a 2am curfew. Alt and rock DJ Howard brings Carpe Noctum back for the late-night sets on both Friday and Saturday.

The Gothic and Alternative market returns in the exhibition hall, with traders open from 10am to 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Entry to the market is free. Other special events are still to be confirmed. The festival will again partner with the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, and ticket buyers can add a charitable donation at checkout. Vive Le Rock Magazine returns as official media partner for 2027.
The gathering has been held at Whitby Pavilion, in the town tied to Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’, since 2018. Organisers say editions from 2022 to 2026 sold out. Dates for 2028 have already been pencilled in, from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 October. More information is on the Tomorrow’s Ghosts website.
