U2 fans could save £324 by seeing the band in Stockholm rather than London, according to new analysis from ticket platform SeatPick. The estimate lands as general tickets for The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour go on sale this Friday, 6 November, with the highest London asking prices already reaching £8,170.
Stockholm’s Strawberry Arena date on 28 April 2027 is the cheapest overseas option in the study. SeatPick puts a starting-price ticket, return travel from London, one night in a shared hotel and return public transport to the venue at £370.92 per person. That is £324.42, or 47%, below its London benchmark of £695.34, which combines an average London ticket of £604.28 with a mean return rail fare of £91.06 from 10 UK cities. The Stockholm total is also £233 cheaper than the average London concert ticket on its own.
Berlin is a close second. A trip to Olympiastadion on 30 June 2027 comes in at £381.77, £313.57 under the London figure. It has the lowest starting ticket in the study at £115.34, and a shared hotel cost of £38.25 per person. Return travel is higher than Stockholm, but the overall gap between the two cities is only about £11. Both sit under £400.
Paris, Milan, Amsterdam and Lisbon also finish below the London benchmark. Stade de France on 8 May 2027 is third at £419.29, a potential saving of £276.05. Stadio San Siro in Milan on 5 July 2027 is fourth at £432.86, £262.48 under London. Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam on 6 June 2027 is £539.41, and Estadio da Luz in Lisbon on 27 May 2027 is £545.21. Even Lisbon, the dearest of the six, is still £150.13 below the London ticket and rail total.

The comparison is not like for like. Overseas figures use starting ticket prices. London uses an average ticket price. SeatPick says the saving depends on what is actually available when fans book. Ticket prices in the study are accurate as of 4 November 2026. The full dataset is here.
Gilad Zilberman, CEO at SeatPick, said fans should compare dates and venues before committing, and add travel, hotel and venue transport before buying the ticket that looks cheapest. “With our analysis ticket and trip costs for the Stockholm venue are nearly 50% cheaper than the ticket and travel costs alone in London,” he said. He also warned fans to check seating maps, because cheaper tickets can mean a restricted view, and to stick to authorised sellers with buyer protection rather than bank transfers on social media.
SeatPick used its own ticket data for starting and average prices at each European venue. Return travel from London, hotel rates and public transport to the venue were taken from Google Travel and local operators. Hotel costs are the mean of three to five advertised three-star rates for the show dates, based on two adults sharing a room. The London rail figure comes from Trip.com quotes for 7 and 8 November 2026.
