Brick Lane Jazz Festival has announced the final two headliners for its upcoming fifth birthday edition, set to take place from 24th – 26th April 2026. Multi-award-winning London jazz proponent Joe Armon-Jones and the collaborative project anaiis & Grupo Cosmo will top the bill, joining the previously announced jazz-funk legend Brian Jackson.

Celebrating five years since its debut, the festival has expanded significantly from a four-venue event to a 12-stage extravaganza. The 2026 edition will once again transform the iconic Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, and Shoreditch into a hub of musical discovery. Alongside the headliners, a wave of new acts has been added to the roster, including Latin London outfit BONITA, Belgian-Brazilian composer Helena Casella, and DJs such as Rohan Rakhit and Tina Edwards.

Joe Armon-Jones is a massive addition to the lineup, widely recognised as a pivotal figure in the UK jazz circuit. Beyond his acclaimed solo work on Brownswood and his own AQUARii label, he is a founding member of the Mercury Prize-winning Ezra Collective, who sold out Wembley Arena last November. His resume includes contributions to albums by Moses Boyd, Nubya Garcia, and the late Tony Allen.

The festival’s third headliner, anaiis & Grupo Cosmo, will make their UK live debut at the event. French-Senegalese singer anaiis recently released a collaborative album with the Brazilian outfit Grupo Cosmo, earning nods from BBC Radio 6 Music and Apple Music for their genre-blending fusion of R&B, soul, and Brazilian sounds.

Juliet Kennedy, the festival’s Founder, reflected on the event’s milestone anniversary: “From day one, Brick Lane Jazz Festival has been about shining a light on the incredible talent in London’s jazz scene. Five years on, Brick Lane Jazz Festival has grown into a landmark celebration of the UK’s underground music community. It’s been incredible to see the festival become a space where artists and audiences connect so powerfully – and this is only the beginning.”

Continuing its commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians, the festival has renewed partnerships with Jazz re:freshed and Tomorrow’s Warriors. Both organisations will host their own stages featuring rising talent such as saxophonist Maddy Coombs, jazz-funk group Resolution 88, and percussionist Richard Spaven.

Early bird tickets are currently on sale, with day passes starting from £29.95 and weekend passes from £89.95. To make the festival more accessible, payment plans are available starting at £11 per month. Tickets and further information can be found HERE.

For those without tickets, the festival will continue to offer free-entry spaces throughout the site. These include special live performances at The Nord Zone, The Brick Lane Tap Room, the Main Bar at 93 Feet East, and Cafe 1001.
