The first tickets for Maui Waui Festival 2024 have gone on sale.
Taking place in rural Norfolk next August 25-27, this fantastic independent festival always delivers a brilliant music lineup and loads of exciting activities.
Announcing the next edition of the festival on Facebook, the festival organisers thanked all the people who have helped the event succeed for the past ten years.
“Now this is a post I could never have imagined writing…… I honestly cannot believe it has been 10 years since Maui Waui first opened the curious gates of creation, little did we know what beast had been unleashed! It really has taken the last 6 weeks for the dust to settle and to be able to reflect in a way that makes this post real, true and Maui Waui
If there’s one thing that stands out after 10 years of producing the festival – PEOPLE ARE AMAZING…… Creatures of creation, love, giving, sharing and enjoying all that life has to offer. Maui Waui is a collection of beautiful people, the crew who we now consider family – best friends and collaborators that we are honoured to work with – this includes those who have recently joined us and others who have been there for the whole 10 years. Please know how much you mean to us, the festival and know that what you do is priceless. We all have a passion to make what we do the best it can be… You do it so well x
Artists – Performers – Beautiful people that are compelled to produce the elements of life that make it worth living. Maui Waui would be nothing without the fire inside you that brings the show to the people. The music, comedy, talent and charisma that exists in the world is a thing worth sharing and is still to this day my favourite part of producing an arts event…. You are brilliant, everyone who has performed and contributed – you are all superstars and we love you x
And it all would mean nothing without the incredible people that come to revel, relax and rave in the magical chaos of it all. To everyone who has ever been, bought tickets, smiles, good times and laughter to the field – you are fabulous and thank you so much for choosing to spend your August bank holiday with us. Please keep coming, tell all your friends. The best thing you can ever do is buy a ticket, its not always an easy ride and we pull it off well above what a festival this size should be able to do, so tell your friends, secure your tickets and help us keep Maui Waui alive, kicking and the best it can be.”
