We had the chance to chat with one-man band blues legend Cam Cole about his latest venture, Fools and Festivities, and the New Age Collective who are helping him bring the event to life.
Discussing the new festival, Cam said, “This one is a bit of a trial run. I’m basically just winging a festival.”
He shared that he started building the setup when he was 24, constructing his truck and half of his sound system. “Now, through my music career, I’m able to fund the rest of the apparatus. The plan is to bring back the free festivals.”

Regarding the people he’s involving, Cam mentioned, “New Age Collective is like all kinds of different genres, just stuff I’ve felt is really cool over the new age. It ranges between rock, drum and bass, folk, dubstep, reggae, and anything that bangs, plus fire shows, circus – we want to incorporate all these vibes.”
He added, “This is the official start, but I’ve put on parties at Stonehenge, Avebury Stone Circle, just small ones for my friends. I’m trying to make this a legitimate business, crew, and collective.”
With big aspirations, Cam stated, “I’d like to travel through all the Kingdoms of Earth and put on shows all around the world. At least if I can get the Mercedes parts,” he laughed.
