Ms. Lauryn Hill is bringing her Diaspora Calling! festival to the UK for the very first time, taking over the Milton Keynes National Bowl for a major open-air event on Friday, 7th August 2026.

The legendary artist will headline the inaugural UK edition in what is currently her only confirmed UK performance for 2026. She will be joined by fellow Fugees founding member Wyclef Jean, alongside YG Marley and Zion Marley. Organisers have confirmed that further artists will be announced across the festival’s two stages in the coming months.

Fans looking to secure their spot at the landmark event can grab tickets when they go on general sale at 9:00 am on Tuesday, 31st March. You can sign up for ticket access via the official website at diasporacalling.com and purchase tickets here.

Originally conceived by Hill in 2016, Diaspora Calling! started as a music and art initiative at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. The project was designed to celebrate the culture, creativity, and shared histories of the African diaspora, initially focusing on Haitian art before expanding into a tour that featured artists like Nas, Kehlani, and Little Simz.

Hill’s headline slot will celebrate her vast influence across hip-hop, soul, and R&B. Fans can expect a journey through her culturally significant catalogue, spanning her game-changing rise with the Fugees to her five-time Grammy-winning solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

The supporting lineup brings together a mix of legacy and modern diaspora-inspired sounds. Wyclef Jean will bring his signature blend of hip-hop, Caribbean, and global influences, while YG Marley and Zion Marley represent the next generation, delivering contemporary reggae, soul, and conscious lyricism that reflects their family’s deep musical heritage.

To support the massive outdoor show, the Milton Keynes National Bowl will be transformed with high-spec lighting and sound production. The venue will also host a full food village, offering a diverse range of tastes and treats from several independent traders throughout the day.
