More tickets added to Parklife presale after technical issues

Parklife organisers have apologised for technical issues which left some fans unable to purchase tickets when the presale began at 9am this morning, following the release of the festival’s line-up last night.

With the original presale allocation selling out before some fans could access the booking page, more tickets were added to the presale at 12 noon today and are currently available from Ticketmaster.

Organisers said: “We would like to apologise to anyone who experienced technical issues during the Parklife 2020 pre-sale this morning. Due to unprecedented demand, technical difficulties arose which resulted in a large number of people being unable to access the box office, and the initial pre-sale allocation sold out extremely quickly.

We appreciate your patience and support and don’t want anyone who had signed up to feel like they missed out. Therefore, to ensure all those who have signed up have the opportunity to purchase before tomorrow’s General Sale, the pre-sale allocation is being increased and will go live from midday today”.

Parklife 2020 line-up poster

The Parklife 2020 line-up was revealed last night, with the likes of Khaled, Lewis Capaldi and Skepta joining already announced JME and Tyler, the Creator.

Also on the line-up poster revealed is Jorja Smith, Bicep Live, Anderson Park & The Free Nationals, Robyn, Fourtet, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Andy C, AJ Tracey and Hot Chip.

Liam Gallagher will play a massive homecoming show at Heaton Park, the same site as Parklife, on Friday 12th June. This is the night before the festival, which Liam headlined last year.

Parklife Festival then takes over Manchester’s Heaton Park on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2020.
