As part of Silver Hayes’ 10th anniversary evolution, the original home of electronic music at Glastonbury will this year introduce ‘THE INFORMATION’ talks stage.
A powerful platform for debate, discovery and discussion, THE INFORMATION stage will put urgent conversations side-by-side with Silver Hayes’ contemporary electronic music programming. Talks will tackle climate action, building a regenerative planet, the power of free press and publishing, food vulnerability, inclusion and diversity in the music industry and question if festivals can be a force for change?
Major names speaking at THE INFORMATION from across the cultural landscape this June will include: British artist Jeremy Deller, George The Poet, producer and DJ Jayda G, authors Jyoti Patel and Moses Mckenzie, writer and Great British Bake Off contestant Ruby Tandoh, Groove Armada and Wildfarmed’s Andy Cato, SHERELLE, Arsenal FC footballer Jen Beattie MBE and Led by Donkeys, amongst numerous others.
A regular fixture at FORWARDS festival in Bristol, this is the first time the INFORMATION stage has toured to another festival.
Silver Hayes’ 10th anniversary in 2023 will launch the next evolution for the electronic field. Driven by cutting edge ideas and future technologies the area will now fuse together electronic music with debate, spatial design and club culture – inviting you to discover the future of tomorrow.
