The Glade Area, nestled amongst a canopy of trees at the heart of Glastonbury Festival, has revealed its superb line-up for 2025. Born in the mid to late 90s, emerging from areas like the Field of Avalon and Lost Vagueness, The Glade was founded with the desire to bring experimental electronic and roots music to Glastonbury. Three decades later, it continues to represent these founding genres while also embracing nuanced and evolving sounds.
For 2025, The Glade Area returns with a diverse array of live acts and DJs, showcasing and blending electronic, world, and roots music.
The Glade Main Stage is set to stay consistent with its original vision, offering a line-up of experimental dance and roots music. Celebrating pioneering and legacy live acts, performances are announced from artists including Leftfield, Goldie (Live), Third World, Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Experience, Max Cooper, and A Guy Called Gerald + The Jungle Drummer (Live). The stage will also host numerous DJ shows from notable figures such as Carl Cox & Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco Feat Julie McKnight, Richie Hawtin, Don Letts DJ Set, Channel One Sound System, Annie Mac, and Marshall Jefferson.
Adding newer faces dominating the electronic scene, the Main Stage line-up will also feature Shygirl presents: CLUB SHY, Skepta B2B Моснакк B2B Carlita, Joy Orbison, Sherelle, Amelie Lens, and Nabihah Iqbal (DJ). Further acts announced for the Main Stage include Damian Lazarus, Seth Troxler, Interplanetary Criminal B2B Kettama, Eliza Rose, Ross From Friends presents: Bubble Love, Daniel Avery B2B Imogen, MJ Cole presents: Sincere, Sally C, Fishs56octagon, Deep Dish, Crazy P (DJ), The Orb, Lauren Lo Sung, Tunng, K Klass, K.O.G, Bel Cobain, and Omega Nebula, and Electric Jalaba.
The smaller sister stage, the Glade Dome, is described as a dance-heavy hideaway amidst swaying poplar trees and colourful canopies. It promises exciting experimental dance acts. The line-up for the Glade Dome includes sets from Daphni, DJ Boring B2B DJ Seinfeld, Jamz Supernova B2B Shy One, and Leon Vynehall. Pioneers of the Drum & Bass scene, Fabio & Grooverider and Calibre, are also confirmed. Minimal house veterans like Mathew Jonson (Live), Margaret Dygas, and Dyed Soundorom will also perform.
Other artists confirmed for the Glade Dome Stage include DJ Tennis & Asheee pres. Tenashee (Live), Eli Brown, A Little Sound, Ion Ludwig (Live), Tommy Holohan, Saoirse, Charlie Tee, Gray, LSB + DRS present Space Age, Izco ft Liam Bailey (Live), and Fila Brazillia (DJ). The Dome wouldn’t be complete without some dub, with Prince Fatty ft Liam Bailey (Live) and Don Letts DJ Set bringing warming roots music. Additional names listed for the Dome include Laidlaw B2B TBA, Tristan Da Cunha B2B Brawther, Northsouth (Dale Mussington, Harry Mccanna & Sam Bangura), Wilfy D, Ralph Lawson (Lost In Dub), Carly Wilford, Harri Pepper, Marlie B2B Pach. B2B Locky, Josh Tweek, Georgia B2B Keefy G, Lucy Cook, Kearun, Iamdbb B2B Yxng Cptn, Wax Material, Truffle 101 presents: Lazy Susan (2stepbec, Oliver.R, Zeus), and Paper Dragon.
Beyond the stages, the Treehouse bar is noted as one of the Glade’s dedicated drinking holes amongst the trees, also serving up tunes from DJs, including BBC Radio 6’s Tom Ravenscroft, among others.
This announcement showcases the Glade area’s continued dedication to its founding principles of electronic, world, and roots music, while embracing the evolving sounds of today. The full line-up promises a rich tapestry of sounds for festival-goers in 2025.
