Download XXIV is officially the fastest-selling edition in the festival’s history. Early Bird tickets for next year sold out at record speed, and the final Late Bird packages are the only discounted tickets left.
The announcement landed on Wednesday 14 October. Download XXIV returns to Donington Park, its spiritual home, from Wednesday 9 to Sunday 13 June 2027. Tickets are on sale now at www.downloadfestival.co.uk.
The line-up is due imminently. Download has already dropped a trail of clues, and the usual headliner theories are in full swing. These Late Bird tickets are the last chance to buy at a discount before prices go up once the bill is out.
That rush follows Download XXIII, which ran at Donington Park from 10 to 14 June 2026 with Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park on the bill. Download called that edition unmissable, and says fans from across the world are already planning the trip back.
The same scramble is a familiar Download move. Ahead of the 2025 line-up reveal, Early Bird tickets were also the last cheaper option before the first wave. No 2027 names have been confirmed yet.
Download says the event has cemented its place as the UK’s greatest rock festival, and that it now has the largest festival main stage in the country. Further investment, site improvements and new collaborations are planned for the 24th year.
It is also leaning on the stuff beyond the bands. District X is billed as the ultimate playground, with an onsite salon, stand-up comedy, DJ sets and cinema screenings, plus meditation, sound baths and yoga. That wider Beyond the Bands programme is aimed at the Download Family.
Download XXIV runs from Wednesday 9 to Sunday 13 June 2027. The remaining Late Bird tickets are at www.downloadfestival.co.uk.
