Sam Fender has announced the Proper Massive Stadium Tour for summer 2027, taking in two nights at London’s Wembley Stadium and further headline dates in Newcastle, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester. A Dublin show at Marlay Park and a Saturday headline at Rock Werchter complete the run.
The tour is billed as his biggest headline shows to date. It opens with two nights at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park on 3 and 5 June, then moves to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 10 June. Wembley follows on 18 and 20 June, before a show at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on 8 July and two nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on 15 and 17 July.
Dublin’s Marlay Park is booked for 1 July. Two days later, on Saturday 3 July, he headlines Rock Werchter in Belgium. The announcement describes that booking as his first European festival headline slot. He has played the Belgian festival before, including a Main Stage headline booking for Rock Werchter in 2025, after earlier appearances on the Slope stage in 2018 and the Main Stage in 2023.
Wunderhorse support every UK stadium date. The Cornwall alt-rock band, led by Jacob Slater, previously opened for Fender on the UK and Ireland arena leg of the People Watching tour in December 2024. They do not appear on the Dublin or Rock Werchter listings.
A fan presale for the stadium shows and Dublin is open via samfender.com. To get a code for the UK and Irish headline dates, fans need to pre-order Fender’s fourth album from the official store before 9am GMT on Monday 26 October. A unique presale code and link will be emailed by 8pm on Tuesday 27 October. The presale then opens at 9:30am on Wednesday 28 October. The limit is six tickets per person, and a code does not guarantee tickets.
General sale starts at 9:30am GMT on Friday 30 October, again via samfender.com.
The dates follow a run that has already put Fender in the biggest rooms in the country. In June 2025 he played London Stadium to more than 80,000 fans, debuting People Watching track Rein Me In with Olivia Dean before the duet was released later that month. Days later he played three sold-out nights at St. James’ Park. In 2026 the Olivia Dean collaboration spent a record 23 non-consecutive weeks at number one in the UK, the longest run at the top for a British single, and also took the BRIT Award for Song of the Year. It topped the Irish charts for 18 weeks, equalling the Irish chart record. This summer he joined Lewis Capaldi for a Rein Me In duet at BST Hyde Park.
People Watching, his third album, was released in 2025 via Polydor and went to number one. It won the 2025 Mercury Prize. Since the record came out he has also picked up a BRIT Award in 2025, two further BRIT Awards, and an Ivor Award for Songwriter of the Year. The fourth album, which unlocks the presale, has not yet been titled in the tour announcement.
