Volunteer for any charity at 13 festivals with My Cause UK

Applications to volunteer at 13 different festivals with My Cause UK this summer are now open.

My Cause UK volunteers raise money for any registered charity of their choice whilst enjoying full access to some of the country’s biggest festivals, including Boomtown, Download, Boardmasters and Noisily.

At most events, volunteers will be required to work three 8-hour shifts during the course of the festival. This is usually stewarding though gate and bar roles are also sometimes available.

Applicants can request the same shift patterns as their friends ensuring they’re free to enjoy the festival during their time off together and are provided with a voucher for one hot meal each shift.

My Cause UK provide their volunteers with free tea and coffee, and they’ll have access to a dedicated crew campsite with free phone charging and hot showers.

Festival volunteering experience will look great on a CV and give you a ‘behind-the-scenes’ insight into some of the country’s biggest live music events.

My Cause UK also offer roles at one-day events such as the All Points East gigs in London’s Victoria Park. In return for working one 7-hour shift finishing at 7 pm, volunteers are free to enjoy the main headline acts for the rest of the night, all while having raised money for a charity of their choice.

Boomtown Fair director Chris Rutherford: “My Cause UK have provided our gate staff for the past 3 years. We know that whenever they’re there, we’re in safe hands. We also love the fact that they donate so much to so many charities. It’s a win-win for everyone involved”.
