Arctangent Festival has announced its first wave of acts for 2026, headlined by French experimental artist Igorrr in a UK exclusive performance, alongside electronic act Perturbator and Oklahoma noise rock band Chat Pile. The award-winning festival returns to its site near Bristol from 19-22 August 2026, with tickets already on sale and more than half sold within the first two weeks.
The initial lineup showcases an impressive array of UK exclusives, including French black metal band Alcest, Belgian post-hardcore act Oathbreaker, and Perturbator, who recently graced the cover of Kerrang! Magazine. The announcement also features several highly anticipated reunion shows, with Icelandic math art rock band Agent Fresco performing their first shows in seven years as a UK exclusive, British math rock favourites TTNG also returning after a seven-year hiatus, and Humanfly reforming for their first show in 13 years.

Tickets for Arctangent 2026 are on sale now, with festival organiser James Scarlett expressing excitement about the unprecedented demand. Early Bird tickets are running low following the strong initial sales, and while headliners have yet to be announced, the festival promises more exclusives, reformations and special sets to come.
Special performances include a 10th anniversary show from British band Heck, celebrating their album ‘Instructions’, and a live silent disco set from British rock band Amplifier, following last year’s huge silent disco success. The Wednesday lineup has been partially revealed, featuring post-hardcore band Svalbard in what will be their final festival show, French post-rock band Lost In Kiev, and Alpha Male Tea Party, whose recent album ‘Reptilian Brain’ has been hailed as one of 2025’s best.
The lineup also includes BRUIT ≤, Psychonaut, Overhead The Albatross, Michael Cera Palin, Darkher, Shearling, Town Portal, and many more emerging and established acts across the experimental rock spectrum. Igorrr, the alias of French musician Gautier Serre, is known for mixing black metal, breakbeats, baroque, trip hop and numerous other genres into a unique and impressive sound.
Arctangent Festival celebrated its tenth year in 2024 and was once again shortlisted at the Festival Awards, having won best small festival in 2018. The fully independent festival has built a reputation as the emerging UK rock festival, delivering lineups of exceptional worldwide artists alongside new talent, with previous acts including Mogwai, Heilung, Devin Townsend, Opeth, Meshuggah, Coheed and Cambria, Shellac, Converge, Explosions In The Sky, Russian Circles, Tesseract, American Football, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and many more.
