Bloodstock has added 18 more bands to its 2027 line-up at Catton Park, Derbyshire, from 5 to 8 August. The latest wave lands across the Ronnie James Dio and Sophie Lancaster stages, with Carnifex, Make Them Suffer, Gama Bomb and The Acacia Strain among the names joining a bill that already runs from Mercyful Fate to Dethklok.

The festival is also putting 2026 on screen. The complete headline set from Slaughter To Prevail is already on Bloodstock’s official YouTube page, and the full 2026 set from Swedish melo-death squad Orbit Culture premieres tonight at 6pm, with more sets due on the channel.

Standard weekend tickets are on sale for £235 plus booking fee. Wednesday early access is available for some campsites, child tickets are on sale, and children under 4 attend for free. A limited run of VIP packages remains, while Big Green Coach packages are available now. The instalment scheme, early birds and campervan tickets have already sold out. Day tickets will go on sale later, and secondary sales should go through official reseller Tixel. All options are in the ticket store.

On the Ronnie James Dio stage, Friday brings Edinburgh’s Dvne and their progressive post metal, shaped over more than a decade of increasingly ambitious records. Saturday adds Perth metalcore favourites Make Them Suffer, known for blending synths, screams and orchestral flourishes, plus riff obsessed veterans Dog Tired, who have spent over 20 years as one of Scotland’s most relentless underground metal exports. Sunday sees deathcore mainstays Carnifex join the bill, a band whose crowds have a well earned reputation for chaos.

Thursday on the Sophie Lancaster stage offers London desert rockers Steak, whose hook laden stoner rock has made them a fixture of the UK heavy rock scene for over a decade. They are joined by Leeds sci-fi thrashers Cryptic Shift, whose technical thrash and death metal comes wrapped in fully realised concept album storytelling, and genre hopping London trio Calva Louise, whose multicultural, multilingual sound has earned support from BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music.

Friday on the Sophie stage brings Slough thrashers Divine Chaos, fusing thrash with melodic death metal, London hardcore crew False Reality and their thrash infused crossover sound, and Northern Irish thrash veterans Gama Bomb, delivering more than two decades of riffs built on horror movies, pulp sci-fi and zero apologies.

Saturday only ramps it up. Brighton’s self styled brat metal trio Eville fuse nu metal revivalism with a distinctly modern pop sensibility. Ukrainian metalcore force Space Of Variations arrive with a sound twice crowned their home country’s best, while Finland’s Luna Kills mix alternative and nu metal with electronics inspired by video game soundtracks. Transatlantic supergroup Spitting Glass had barely released a single note this year before selling out London’s Underworld and leaving the Dogtooth tent at Download in tatters. Atlanta deathcore outfit Left To Suffer complete the Saturday additions.

Sunday wraps the Sophie stage with Cypriot thrash and death metal band Blynd, one of the most established names in their country’s scene after more than two decades of touring across Europe. Norwegian black and viking metal force Uburen take their name from an old Norse word for casting out, drawing on folklore and history. US genre blurrers The Acacia Strain bring a sound that is part existential metal, part cosmic hardcore, with plenty of doom and sludge thrown in.

The 18 additions in full are Dvne, Make Them Suffer, Dog Tired and Carnifex on the Ronnie James Dio stage, plus Steak, Cryptic Shift, Calva Louise, Divine Chaos, False Reality, Gama Bomb, Eville, Space Of Variations, Luna Kills, Spitting Glass, Left To Suffer, Blynd, Uburen and The Acacia Strain on the Sophie Lancaster stage.

Bloodstock 2027 is already set around Ronnie James Dio stage headliners Mercyful Fate, Electric Callboy and Motionless In White, with Sophie Lancaster stage headliners Madball, Gaerea, Kanonenfieber and Dethklok. Also confirmed are Green Lung, Children Of Bodom, DevilDriver, Corrosion Of Conformity, Imminence, Wind Rose, Sylosis, Decapitated, Witch Club Satan, HammerFall, Hypocrisy, The Halo Effect, Tortured Demon, Gutalax, Humanity’s Last Breath, Conan, Dool, Pig Destroyer, Fulci and many more still to be announced.
