If you’re looking for a British-style event in a completely different setting the Cascade Masquerade in Morrocco might be just what you need.

Set in the breathtaking Ouzoud Waterfalls in Azilal Province, this festival aims to blend the best of the UK festival scene with the rich culture and stunning landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Taking place from 21st to 24th October 2024, the Cascade Masquerade is being organized by a crew of seasoned UK event planners who are working closely with the local community to create an unforgettable experience.

The lineup features a fantastic mix of West African and British music. From Tarwa-N-Tiniri’s Desert Blues to The Nomad Band’s traditional Twareg music, and UK festival favourites like Skaface, Skatopia, Snipit and the Hotrocks, and the legendary Slamboree, there’s something for everyone.

Simon Rice, one of the festival’s key organisers, expressed his excitement: “The support for this venture has been incredible. It’s shaping up to be one hell of a good thing! The local teams are so fired up for it—it’s taken us a long time to get here, but we’re ready. This is going to be something truly special.”

He added, “I first saw the site in 2016 and knew it was perfect. It’s taken 11 trips to Morocco to get everything in place—beds, showers, toilets, power, everything! Now it’s ready for take-off.”

When the main event wraps up, there are several after-parties planned, including one in the desert and another near Marrakech, with details to be announced closer to the time.
