Club Glow has announced the launch of a new monthly party series, ‘Dance Cult’, with the first event set for Thursday, 28th August at the new Dalston basement venue, Cu. The inaugural party will feature extended sets from selectors Paleman and Beaabea. Tickets for the event are on sale now, starting at an accessible price of £6.50.
The new series aims to be a return to the roots of club culture, focusing on an intimate, 100-capacity dancefloor rather than major headliners and high prices. The event will take place at Cu, a freshly launched venue on Kingsland Road which boasts a hand-built 30Hz sound system designed for immersive listening.
According to the organisers, the ‘Dance Cult’ concept was founded as an alternative to “commercialised, overpriced raving”. The series strips the clubbing experience back to its essentials: intimate venues, affordable tickets, and artists given the time and space to connect with a dedicated crowd.

The debut edition features extended sets from Club Glow family and affiliates, and for the first edition they’ve pulled in forward-thinking selectors Paleman and Beaabea. DANCE CULT is a return to the roots of club culture — no mega-headliners, no inflated prices, just two DJs, extended sets, and an intimate 100-capacity dancefloor. It’s about connection, discovery, and building a community around music, with accessible tickets starting at just £6.50.
The series will take place at Cu, a freshly launched basement club on Kingsland Road, located beneath Copper Cats bar. Brought to life by the team behind North London Dub Club (NLDC), Cu boasts a hand-built 30Hz sound system and an outdoor courtyard — perfect for deep, immersive listening and communal energy.
