Rising Covid rates force Boomtown to cancel Boom Village

Due to the risk to public safety and widespread crew self-isolation, Boom Village won’t be going ahead this summer.

National bans on events
Emergency services have been instructed not to support mass gatherings. This means festivals are extremely unlikely to receive ‘Safety Advisory Group‘ approval, which in turn means local council’s are extremely unlikely to grant a festival’s licence.
We don’t know how long this will last for.
