Coronavirus: Terminal V postponed from April to October

Terminal V, a one-night event billed as the first festival of the season, has confirmed it will postponed from Saturday 11th April to instead take place on Halloween, Saturday 31st October.

The festival will remain at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh and organisers have promised to “take the Easter line-up” and “add even more acts and stages to curate one of the biggest house & techno line-ups the UK has ever seen”.

The news comes after both the Scottish and UK Governments advised a ban on mass public gatherings. All tickets will remain valid for the new date and existing ticket holders will be given a 50% discount on tickets to the Terminal V All Nighter events this August.

The full statement reads: “We are absolutely devastated to announce that Terminal V Festival | New Horizon 2020 will be rescheduled due to the world crippling coronavirus. The new date is now confirmed for Saturday October 31st 2020 – Halloween.

“After almost 12 months of intense planning we never could have imagined this event not taking place. A situation out-with our control has occurred, this worldwide pandemic is something that our generation has never seen before and hopefully we never see again.

“We are proud of all that we’ve created together in Scotland over the last 3 years. We are all in this together with all the other festivals, artists and ravers around the world. We stand united and look to you for your continued support in these difficult times.
