Terminal V has revealed Clydeside Live as the home of its landmark 10th anniversary festival, confirming a move to a new riverside site in Glasgow’s historic docklands. The festival will run from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June 2027, making it Terminal V’s first three-day edition and its first fully outdoor Scottish festival.
Clydeside Live sits on the north bank of the River Clyde and is being developed as Glasgow’s largest dedicated open-air event space. Terminal V will be the first music festival held there. The exact site had stayed under wraps since the festival announced earlier this year that it was leaving Edinburgh for Glasgow.
The Glasgow edition arrives a decade after Terminal V launched in 2017 as a 2,000-capacity, one-day event at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre. It has since grown into one of the world’s leading electronic music festivals, ranked Number 1 in Scotland, Number 5 in the UK and Number 22 globally in the DJ Mag Awards. It also won Best UK Festival at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards in 2023. More than a quarter of a million fans have attended over the past decade, with more than 30% of ticket sales now coming from outside Scotland. Previous editions have contributed more than £5 million to the local economy.

For the 10th anniversary, the team will build its largest and most ambitious festival set-up to date from the ground up. That includes an entirely new main stage concept for Area V at the water’s edge. The Hangar and The Greenhouse, both familiar from previous Edinburgh editions, will be reimagined for the outdoor setting. The first glimpses of the design have been released today in newly published renders.
The industrial landscape around the docklands is being framed as a natural fit. Organisers say the festival’s industrial aesthetic has been part of its identity since launch, and the open-air site gives them room to scale up production beside the Clyde. Beyond music, Clydeside Live is also set to host a varied programme of seasonal attractions and entertainment for a broader audience.
The festival is produced by EE Live, the independent Scottish events company behind its growth into an internationally recognised electronic music brand. Alongside the Scottish flagship, Terminal V’s Croatian edition is now established, following a 15,000-capacity London debut at Drumsheds in 2025 and the launch of its first Australian edition in 2026. Further international activity is planned as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations.

Founders Derek Martin and Simon McGrath said finding the right home for the next chapter was “hugely important”, and that the scale, riverside setting and industrial landscape felt “completely aligned with Terminal V”. They pointed to venues such as Silverworks Island as proof of how exciting large-scale outdoor inner-city spaces can be for electronic music, and said Clydeside Live has the potential to become one of the most exciting new outdoor event destinations in the UK.
“For our 10th anniversary, we have the opportunity to build the festival from the ground up, rethink our stages and production for the setting and create an experience that feels distinctly Glasgow while still being unmistakably Terminal V,” they said. “We can’t wait for people to see what we have planned.”
The first line-up announcement is coming soon, with more than 100 artists set to be revealed. Organisers say that will include international headliners who have shaped Terminal V’s past and present, alongside names defining its future. Early Bird tickets for Terminal V Festival 2027 go on sale at 10am on Friday 2 October. Fans can sign up for first access.
Previous Scottish editions have been staged across multiple stages at the Royal Highland Centre, including a 2024 billing of more than 80 acts and a 2025 line-up of more than 100 artists.
