Cursus Festival looks like it might be one of the best folk punk and alternative events happening early this season.
With headliners including two of the biggest legends in the sea shanty world, the Longest Johns and the Dreadnoughts, this cider festival is lining up to be an absolute legendarily piratical weekend.
Other acts gracing the festival with their presence include the third headliner, Skinny Lister, a riotous family band who play fast bouncing folk-inspired tunes, the melodious guitar and vocals of duo Sound of Sirens, and the rampaging ska sounds of Imperial Leisure.
Activities will be available for partygoers of all ages, ranging from kids to curmudgeons, and the festival promises “good people, great music and delicious food and cider”.
The event will be taking place at Myncen Farm in Dorset on the weekend of 26-28 May and Adult Tickets for the whole event start from £89.
