Download Festival Loyalty Scheme Dog Pounds

Download Festival have released details of their loyalty scheme, which will return for Download 2019.

The most loyal Downloaders will receive £50 of ‘Download Pounds’, which can be spent at any of the main bars and on official Download merchandise within the main arena.

Fans with two or more Download Festivals under their belt since 2012 can apply for the scheme, with a £10 loyalty reward offered for each year attending the festival, up to a maximum of £50.

To be eligible for the loyalty scheme, you’ll need to have bought a 3 or 5-day adult weekend ticket for Download 2019 and any previous Download you wish to claim credit for.

You’ll need the ticket booking reference numbers from each previous Download to apply, so get searching your old emails.

When the scheme first started, a photo of you at a previous Download could be used as evidence, allowing volunteers, day ticket holders, and competition winners to take advantage of the scheme.

These are now ruled out, so you won’t be able to claim the £10 for any previous years when you didn’t come for the full weekend. This also rules out anyone that attended with a child (age 13-17) ticket before they became old enough to drink.

The only exceptions to the reference number requirement are those that bought tickets at the box office onsite or in a physical ticket shop, who are asked to email loyalty@downloadfestival.co.uk for advice.

Download Pounds also won’t be redeemable on the festival’s incredible street food this year. Everyone must make an application this year to take advantage of the loyalty scheme, even if you’ve successfully applied in previous years.

Applications open on 1st February 2019, and fans have until 31st March to apply.

Reward emails will then be sent out on 1st May, along with a QR code and instructions to redeem your Download Pounds at the festival.

Anyone that has their application rejected will then have until 15th May to make any required corrections and resubmit their application.
