Emeli Sandé has added five extra UK dates to her 2027 tour after phenomenal demand, taking the run celebrating 15 years of debut album Our Version of Events to 29 shows across the UK and Europe.
The new gigs are at Brighton Dome, Bristol Beacon, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, Ipswich Regent and Watford Colosseum. They expand the 2027 UK and EU tour already set to visit London’s Palladium, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Paris’ Salle Pleyel.
Tickets for the extra dates go on sale from 9am on Thursday 24 September via Gigsandtours.com and Emeli Sandé’s Linktree. The added shows run from 25 to 30 January 2027, before the previously announced itinerary continues through February and March.
Throughout the tour, Sandé will perform the eight times platinum album in full alongside her greatest hits. Our Version of Events was the UK’s biggest selling album of both 2012 and 2013, shifting more than five million copies worldwide. It includes “Next to Me”, “Read All About It (Pt. III)” and “Clown”, won British Album of the Year at the 2013 BRIT Awards, and spent 66 consecutive weeks in the Official Albums Chart Top 10, a record for a debut album, beating The Beatles’ 62 week run with Please Please Me. “Next to Me” also picked up two Ivor Novello Awards.
The extra UK nights give fans who missed out another chance to hear that record in concert halls, with Manchester now hosting both Bridgewater Hall on 28 January and Opera House on 14 February. Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on 2 February remains the first of the originally announced dates, with the European leg then running from Paris on 22 February through to Bern on 9 March.
As part of National Album Day’s “Icons” theme, a special gold vinyl edition of Our Version of Events is due on 17 October 2026. UK vinyl pre-orders are open at emelisande.tmstor.es.
Sandé recently played BBC Radio 2 in the Park, on a bill that also featured Chaka Khan, Lulu and The Script. Across her career she has sold millions of albums, won four BRIT Awards, received an MBE for services to music, and performed at both the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympic Games. She has also written for artists including Rihanna, Katy Perry and Alicia Keys, following an early breakthrough co-writing Chipmunk’s 2009 hit “Diamond Rings” with producer Naughty Boy.
Born and raised in rural Aberdeenshire, Sandé studied medicine at the University of Glasgow before moving to London to pursue music. After the success of her debut she released Long Live The Angels, Real Life, Let’s Say For Instance and How Were We To Know.
