Following a sellout show earlier this year, organisers of Forbidden Forest have announced the first phase of its impressive line-up for next year’s event – taking place 31st May-2nd June 2024.
Last year saw a Forbidden Family of 30,000 descend on one of the UK’s most enchanted estates, Belvoir Castle, for the festival’s biggest edition to date – and it doesn’t stop there. Plans for next year look to be even BIGGER with new additions featuring incredible, immersive production which will take the show to the next level.
The natural setting of Belvoir Castle will become a more prominent feature for the ninth edition, with organisers revealing they will be playing on more of the forest’s unique scenery. The VIP area will be expanding to be situated against the picturesque backdrop of the lake, plus there will be earthy new stage builds buried amongst the woodland and yoga classes for campers.
Today the festival has dropped over 40 of the biggest names in the electronic music realm as they come together to celebrate their love of music, nature and dance. Returning to the Forest are house heroes Sonny Fodera, Hannah Laing, Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones, PAWSA, Jess Bays, Eats Everything, Schak, Low Steppa, Hot Since 82, Gorgon City, East End Dubs, Fleur Shore and Luude.DnB heavyweights Andy C, Hedex, Hybrid Minds, Wilkinson, Shy FX, Sub Focus, Bou, Darkzy and Holy Goof also make their return for 2024, along with power collective 24Hr Garage Girls who promise to bring non-stop lethal bassline and old skool anthems.
They’ll be joined by Aussie DJ Dom Dolla, who played a sold out show at Electric Brixton earlier this month,Irish duo Belters Only,techno titan Charlie Sparks, Solid Grooves’ Dennis Cruz, legendary DnB trio Kings of the Rollers, ‘The First Lady of Defected’ Sam Divine, minimal Parisian group ODEN & Fatzo, Detroit-bred Seth Troxler plus many many more.
Campers can arrive from Friday afternoon to get set up before the sun sets and the magic begins. This year sees the return of the festival’s VIP camping offering, ‘Forbidden Retreat’, as well as its partnership with When Nature Calls, a toilet provider that offers the cleanest festival loos in the UK as well as pamper stations for those wanting to keep their glam in check. The festival is also working with its sustainable travel partner, Big Green Coach, which will offer coach transport directly to the festival from key UK cities.

Presale tickets go on sale 10am Wednesday 8 November and pre-registered festival goers will have first access to secure their tickets from just £8.50 plus booking fee online at https://www.forbidden-forest.co.uk/tickets. Tickets can be purchased via Paylogic, Skiddle or Big Green Coach and payment plans are available.
