Franz Ferdinand & Friendly Fires join Festival No. 6 lineup13th February 2018
Festival No.6, perhaps Britain’s most beautiful festival, have today confirmed headline performances from Franz Ferdinand and Friendly Fires for the September 2018 event.
The festival takes place in the Italian-styled resort village of Portmeirion, nestled on the Lynn Peninsula overlooking the beautiful Dwyryd estuary and the staggering peaks of Snowdonia.
Already confirmed for this summer are fellow headliners The The, joining The Charlatans, Manchester Camerata Orchestra, and singer-songwriter Jessie Ware. Art-rockers Everything Everything, genre-defying Django Django, and garage rockers The Horrors are also set to feature.

The festival’s other features include Castell Deudraeth, a beach, a gorgeous sea terrace with restaurant, and acres of woods flush with hidden stages and dancefloors.
Festival Manager Luke Huxham released the following statement:
“We always aim to raise the bar with our programme.
Our mandate is to deliver a diverse but coherent line-up combining stone-cold legends likeThe The with the cream of emerging talent and this year is no exception. The festival goes from strength to strength and we still have an enormous amount of talent in music, arts, culture and food still to reveal. The seventh Festival No.6 is going to be truly incredible. We can’t wait!”
This years festival will also feature a brand new Psychedelic Faber Social stage, specially curated by Andrew Weatherall. Festival No.6 is an intimate, bespoke banquet of music, arts, and culture, set to take place over the weekend of September 6th-9th 2018. Acts perform across two vast areas, with a traditional festival area accompanying the village, beach, and forest areas.
