The Queen’s Park Spring Weekender will return to Glasgow’s Queen’s Park Recreation Ground on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2026. Festival partners Melting Pot and Optimo (Espacio) have revealed a stellar lineup for the May Bank Holiday event, which will also feature a brand new stage named in honour of the late Keith McIvor, also known as JD Twitch. Headliners include Hercules & Love Affair, Daphni, Danilo Plessow (MCDE), and HAAi, with tickets going on sale this week.

This year’s event introduces the JD Twitch Stage on Sunday, presented in loving memory of the influential artist and event co-curator. The stage will feature a lineup of artists from the Optimo Music label alongside friends from the local and international Optimo family, celebrating the sound and spirit Keith helped to create. Jonnie Wilkes of Optimo said, “to have another stage in loving memory of my partner Keith, feels very special. It’s somewhere we can host artists from the Optimo Music label roster alongside local dj’s we love. Gonna be a STOATER this one!”

The festival brings together a formidable mix of boundary-pushing DJs and live acts across two stages. DFA Records titans Hercules & Love Affair will light up the Big Top with their first live performance in Glasgow since 2011, celebrating queer disco energy. They are joined by Daphni (Caribou’s club moniker), the jazz-infused house grooves of Danilo Plessow (MCDE), Haçienda legend DJ Paulette, and HAAi, who will bring a high-octane trip through techno and beyond. The weekend also includes an intense, industrial-edged live show from Factory Floor.

As in previous years, Saturday will be curated by long-running club night Melting Pot, with Optimo (Espacio) taking the reins on Sunday for their legendary day of music. Fans can sign up for pre-sale ticket access now, with pre-sale tickets becoming available at 11am on Thursday, 13th November. The general sale will begin at 11am on Friday, 14th November.

Mark Mackechnie, Melting Pot Director, said: “The Queen’s Park Spring Weekender is our favourite weekend of the year. Every year it keeps getting better and this year we are delighted with the line up – we feel it really reflects the creative vibe of the area.” Jonnie Wilkes added: “It’s really a dream line-up this year for Optimo at Queen’s Park Spring Weekender. A lovely balance of live performance, individual dj sets and fun back to back sessions.”

The lineup also features a wealth of acclaimed talent, including Dutch selector Job Jobse, the famously unpredictable Mr Scruff, and visionary live act Accident Machine. Fierce feminist punks Big Joanie and Edinburgh art-punks Bikini Body add to the live offering, alongside local Glasgow talent including Babyccino, Bonzai Bonnar, Bosco, Amy Rodgers, Shaun G, and Ribeka. Saint Sappho will also deliver a captivating live show, with more acts still to be announced.
