The line-up for the Shangri-La area at Glastonbury 2019 has been revealed, including an ‘all femme all dayer’ on the Truth Stage and The Disruption Bureau featuring Extinction Rebellion.
The 10th edition of Shangri-La will also host Elvana, a Nirvana tribute band fronted by ‘Elvis’, Henge, Dutty Moonshine Big Band and Fizzy Gillespie.
Idles, Gojira, Denzel Curry and Venom Poison will appear on The Truth Stage. Black Futures, The Damned and Slave to Sirens feature on The Scum Stage, the only stage at Glasto’ dedicated to heavy music.
Shangri-La is within Glastonbury’s late-night area, affectionately known as ‘the naughty corner’.
Revealing the line-up posters, organisers said: “By holding a mirror up to the masses, creating conversations, encouraging activism and stimulating all of the senses at the same time, the aim to expand minds and open hearts, motivating people in politics and play.”
