Gloworm Festival has announced Birmingham Children’s Hospital as its official charity partner ahead of the family-friendly event’s 10th edition this August 2026.
The partnership aims to raise vital funds for the hospital, which provides incredible care and support to around 100,000 seriously ill children and their families from across the UK every year.
To kickstart the fundraising efforts, three members of the Gloworm events team will be taking on the Great Gloworm Skydive this summer.
Holly Lince, Stephen Lambert, and Amy Bennett will be jumping from the skies on Friday 17th July 2026. The daring trio described the challenge as a mix of excitement and nerves, but welcomed the opportunity to support a cause that makes a real difference to young lives.
As part of the ongoing collaboration, the festival team will visit the hospital to see firsthand how the charity supports young patients. Gloworm will also be donating festival tickets and giving customers the chance to add donations when purchasing their tickets, alongside offering opportunities to donate during the festival weekend itself.
Every donation raised will support life-changing work at the hospital, funding everything from newly refurbished playrooms and wards to state-of-the-art medical equipment and Christmas toys.

Supporting the vital work they do for children and families means a great deal to us, and we’re excited to work together to create meaningful experiences both at the festival and beyond.”
Will Graves, senior regional fundraiser for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, said the family-focused event aligns perfectly with their mission to provide magical experiences for young patients to temporarily forget their hospital surroundings.
