Hampton Court Palace Festival returns in one month, with last remaining tickets now on sale for several shows across the 10–20 June run. The 31st edition of London’s iconic outdoor concert series will bring David Gray, OMD, Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics, The Stranglers, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and 80’s Classical to the historic Tudor Palace grounds. The festival opens with two nights from David Gray on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 June. One of the most influential singer-songwriters of his generation, Gray broke through with his 1998 album White Ladder, which went on to become the tenth best-selling album of the 21st century, and has since sold over 11 million records worldwide, with hits including “Babylon”, “This Year’s Love” and “Sail Away”. His latest album Dear Life arrived last year to critical acclaim.
Synth-pop pioneers OMD make their Hampton Court debut on Friday 12 June. Formed in 1978 by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, the band rose to fame in the early ’80s with “Enola Gay”, “Souvenir” and “Joan of Arc”, and have racked up 18 Top 40 UK hits across their career. The following evening, Saturday 13 June, dance music legend Pete Tong brings Ibiza Classics with The Essential Orchestra — an audio-visual celebration of Ibiza’s most iconic anthems, reimagined alongside a full live orchestra.
Punk-rock trailblazers The Stranglers take the stage on Tuesday 16 June. One of the most enduring acts of the UK punk era, the band celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2024 and have continued to evolve while retaining the confrontational spirit that made them originals. The following night, Wednesday 17 June, Nile Rodgers & Chic return for a dance party following their sell-out Hampton Court show in 2024. Rodgers, credited with pioneering a musical language that produced “Le Freak” and “Good Times”, has sold more than 750 million albums globally as a songwriter, producer, arranger and guitarist.
On Thursday 18 June, Elvis Costello performs with long-term collaborators The Imposters, joined by acclaimed guitarist Charlie Sexton. Spanning a career that has shaped modern songwriting, Costello’s shows are renowned for their energy and the breadth of material drawn from an extraordinary catalogue. The festival’s penultimate night, Friday 19 June, belongs to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Palace Disco. With five Top 10 albums and eight Top 10 singles to her name, including “Murder on the Dancefloor”. which boasts over 11 billion global streams after its Saltburn resurgence, Sophie is one of the most in-demand live acts in the country. Her latest album Perimenopop entered the UK chart straight at Top 5.
80’s Classical closes the festival on Saturday 20 June in spectacular style. The evening will feature Kim Wilde, Go West, Nik Kershaw and Roland Gift performing orchestral versions of their biggest hits, backed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, a feel-good finale to the series.
Throughout the run, Hampton Court Palace will open its gates after-hours so audiences can enjoy the stunning East Front Gardens before concerts begin in the intimate Base Court. Festival-goers can also pre-order a luxury picnic hamper to enjoy ahead of the show. With capacity capped at just 3,000, the entire series unfolds against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s grand Tudor palace in an intimate, one-of-a-kind setting.
