Jackson Guitars gives fans a chance to shred on stage with Wargasm

It's to honour the launch of a new flagship guitar

Wargasm

Jackson®, the guitar brand synonymous with heavy metal and known for its industry-leading high-performance instruments, is calling on London’s shredding scene for a one-off opportunity to play live with British nu-metal duo Wargasm on stage at the legendary Black Heart in Camden. The show is being held in honour of the brand new American Series SoloistTM SL3, an American-made flagship electric guitar crafted for speed and produced for the heaviest and fastest of players – now available in the U.K.  Players can sign up now for the chance to take part in the live show.  Two finalists will be chosen to play on stage with Wargasm and the player with the fastest shredding abilities of the evening will take home their very own American Series SoloistTM SL3.  Fans can register for a highly limited number of free tickets to the Black Heart gig from today.

Armed with an unrivaled live energy and having toured with the likes of Limp Bizkit and Yungblud, Wargasm is the perfect band to pioneer the brand new Jackson American Series. No strangers to Jackson guitars on stage, the duo has amassed a burgeoning fanbase with stand-out songs that blend nu-metal, punk and electro and are brilliant to shred to. This special gig will take place right after the band’s biggest headline show to date at the Kentish Town Forum, London on Thursday, 27 October (tickets on-sale now).

“We can’t wait to turn the Black Heart into our own personal thunderdome, this is such a chaotic idea from Jackson and we’re excited to see how London’s best players take it on. Especially with contestants wielding the new American Series, Jackson’s fastest beast yet, bring on the shred fast blood bath.” said Wargasm.

Speaking about the event, Tim Hillier-Brook, Artist Marketing Manager from Jackson said “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the launch of Jackson’s American Series Soloist SL3 than with this unique Wargasm gig at the iconic Black Heart. We have built Jackson’s fastest-ever guitar and we can’t wait to see what it can do in the hands of the metal scene’s best players. Put Wargasm on top and it’s going to be a night to remember.”

The American Series SoloistTM SL3, proudly made from start to finish in Fender’s Corona, California. factory, is a breakthrough in high-performance guitars and above all else, is designed for speed. Starting with the classic Speed NeckTM profile from beloved Jackson Soloist guitars of decades past, the profile has been suped up to include masterfully rolled edges for maximum comfort. Complimenting this profile is a compound radius that starts at 12” at the nut and flattens to 16” at the 12th fret to promote screaming bends and intricate finger work as players move up the neck. Player-focused features like Luminlay side dots to illuminate the fretboard on the darkest of stages and quick access truss rod adjustment to make easy neck relief adjustments ensure the Soloist is always optimized for speed and precision.
