The long-awaited return of K-Fest has been announced, coming to Rhyl Events Arena for three distinct days of music from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th August 2022.
As in previous years, the festival will be run as three distinct events with separate tickets on sale for each day. Friday is all about dance music, Saturday is indie and live music day, and then Sunday will be a family-friendly day packed with tribute acts and children’s entertainment (and you can even bring the dog along!).
It’s set to be one of the biggest events to hit North Wales this summer with tickets now on sale from the official K-Fest Skiddle page. Friday and Saturday are priced at £25 plus fees, while Sunday is just £10 for adults, £5 for ages 12-17 and free for kids aged 11 and under. With the venue just a short walk from Rhyl train station, K-Fest is easily accessible from Liverpool and Manchester or any location along the North Wales coast.
Electronic Dance | Friday 5th August
Friday is a full day of electronic music, packed with house, techno and old-school 90s dance with a main outdoor stage line-up featuring a headline set from Graeme Park (Hacienda). Also on the bill are Stu Allen, K-Klass including live PA, Boxia (Drumcode), Gary Burrows, a live show with performers from Garlands Nightclub Liverpool, Lisa Oakes and Sai North Wales Audio.
The packed outdoor line-up will be bolstered by other local DJs, plus the event will feature a separate tented area for more specialist and niche dance genres, hosted by DJs from across North Wales.
Friday is 18+ only. Tickets are available now for £25 standard or £35 VIP, plus fees.
Indie/Live Bands | Saturday 6th August
Saturday’s line-up is packed with indie artists and live music acts, including Cast, Dub Pistols and a DJ set from Clint Boon.
Also set to feature are The Sums, The Racket, Megan Wyn, Psyence, The Common View, DDE’s, Lost and Found and The Montagues – plus a live DJ set from a local Northern Soul DJ.
Adult tickets are priced at £25 standard or £35 VIP, with tickets for those aged 12-17 priced at £15 standard or £25 VIP.
Family fun and tribute acts | Sunday 7th August
Sunday is family day and features a line-up packed with tribute acts sure to get every generation on their feet and singing along! The day is also dog friendly and will feature children’s entertainment zones, fairground rides and a ‘Little Raverz’ hour.
The music line-up will be headlined by Stereophonics tribute The Phonics and also features Beatles tribute The Cavernites, Katy as Taylor Swift, Katy as Katy Perry and The Old Scrotes Irish Band.
