David Byrne will play a UK festival exclusive set, joined by fellow headliners Lewis Capaldi and Teddy Swims. A special Klarna presale for tickets is live now, with a general sale beginning this Wednesday.

Joining the headliners are The Flaming Lips, The Last Dinner Party, Self Esteem, Tom Grennan, and Wet Leg. The lineup also features Alex James’ Britpop Classical, Billy Ocean, Dry Cleaning, English Teacher, and a rare UK festival appearance from Vanessa Carlton. The announcement marks a significant moment for the festival, celebrating two decades of mixing music, arts, and culture.

Melvin Benn, Latitude Founder and Festival Director, said: “Twenty years of Latitude feels like both a moment and a lifetime. We’ve watched this festival grow from an ambitious idea into a cultural institution that has genuinely changed what people expect from a festival experience. This first lineup announcement celebrates everything Latitude has always stood for: fearless programming, artistic ambition, and that magical collision between discovery and legacy.”

Headliner David Byrne, known for his work with Talking Heads and as a solo artist, will deliver a performance blending songs from his entire career. He commented: “Really looking forward to this. A wide-ranging festival, and well curated (looking forward to catching some of the other acts). A great day in the country.” Lewis Capaldi’s performance marks a major return to the stage since he stepped back from touring in 2023, while soul sensation Teddy Swims returns after a 2023 appearance, this time as a headliner. Swims said, “to come back as the headliner feels like a dream.”

The supporting lineup features a host of fan favourites and returning heroes. The Flaming Lips will bring their celebrated live show, while The Last Dinner Party return following their 2023 debut and a subsequent Mercury Prize win. Self Esteem is also back after a critically acclaimed set in 2022, and Wet Leg, who first played the intimate Alcove stage in 2021, return with a new album and expanded five-piece lineup. Tom Grennan and 2024 Mercury Prize winners English Teacher are also set to make their return.

Alex James of Blur will present his Britpop Classical project for the first time at Latitude, featuring orchestral versions of 90s classics with guest vocalists including Phil Daniels, Saffron of Republica, and Gary Stringer of Reef. Soul icon Billy Ocean will perform his catalogue of hits, and Vanessa Carlton will play one of her few UK festival dates.

The lineup is further strengthened by American singer-songwriter Kevin Morby, art-punk act Dry Cleaning, and the Berlin-based Alice Phoebe Lou. A new generation of talent is also represented by Irish rockers Florence Road, Bristol duo Getdown Services, noise-rock band Just Mustard, alt-R&B artist Keo, and Manchester’s Westside Cowboy.

The full programme of comedy, theatre, dance, poetry, literature, and science will be announced in the coming months, promising to explore the cultural moments and artists that have shaped the last two decades.
