British alt-pop rockers LEAP have released new single Bloodlines, their first track for Epitaph Records and the first new music since last year’s self released debut album Entropy. The band will follow it with their first ever world tour this autumn, taking in the US, Europe, the UK and Ireland.
LEAP are currently on the cover of Rock Sound after a summer that put them on stages at BLUDFEST, Pinkpop, Sziget and All Points East, with Aftershock in California still to come. More than 60,000 tickets have already been sold across the UK, Europe and a previous, sold out debut US run, while Entropy has passed 90 million global streams.
The US leg opens on 30th September at The Parish in Anaheim, California, before Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on 1st October. From there the band head through Portland, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Columbus, Toronto, Cambridge, Philadelphia and Baltimore, wrapping the American run on 17th October. Seattle, Chicago, Toronto and Philadelphia are already sold out.
Europe starts on 2nd November at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen and runs through Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands and France, including sold out nights at Fabrik in Hamburg, Hirsch in Nuremberg, Melkweg in Amsterdam and Les Etoiles in Paris. UK and Ireland dates begin on 30th November at Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds, then Manchester’s Gorilla, Leeds, London’s Electric Ballroom, Bristol, Glasgow and Dublin, with Leeds, Bristol and Glasgow already gone. Tickets are on sale now.
“Bloodlines is our first single since our debut album last year and it’s the first thing we wrote after we wrapped that record,” says frontman Jacky. “A lot has changed for us in the past year, and this track kinda feels like it captures the madness of that journey a bit. It’s a song about that cosmic pull that keeps bringing you back to someone no matter how toxic, but it’s still got that playful side, like we’re celebrating the chaos. We’ve been writing loads so we cannot wait to start releasing music again, and this single feels like the start of something new.”
Entropy was independently released in autumn 2025 and reached the UK top 10, plus top 20 on the German Official Charts and top 10 in Austria. It picked up tastemaker support from NME, Kerrang, Rock Sound, Rolling Stone and BBC Radio 1. Earlier singles and videos include Sinking Feeling, Do or Die, Play Dead and Waste Your Love.
The four piece is Jack “Jacky” Scott, drummer Hector “Heccy” Cottam, bassist Declan “Deccy” Brown and guitarist Adam “The Pixie” Mason. Jacky formed LEAP after a previous project signed to Capitol and Sony collapsed following an extended manic episode linked to bipolar disorder, a period in a psychiatric institution, and the suicide of his father in Edinburgh. He has said the band name comes from his father’s words: “Don’t flinch. Whatever it is, face it head on. LEAP.”
Jacky adds: “I actually love replying to the deep messages from fans. It gets heavy sometimes, but the thought of helping someone through their trauma just by sharing mine or knowing that something positive is coming out of the shitstorm I’ve been through. I’d much rather that than it all be for nothing.”
