Lost Oasis brings food and live music to Trafalgar Square

Lost Oasis Render

A unique new summer experience named Lost Oasis is set to transform the heart of central London this year. Running from Wednesday 10th June until Sunday 30th August 2026, the immersive botanical event space will take over the iconic grounds of St Martin-in-the-Fields, overlooking Trafalgar Square. The concrete urban landscape will dissolve into a lush, sprawling haven of high-end food, drink, entertainment, and sport.

Inside the leafy sanctuary, visitors will be treated to a rotating line-up of top culinary talent, including Michelin-starred chefs Nathan Outlaw, Adam Handling MBE, Jordan Bailey, and acclaimed cooks Simon Stallard, Emily Scott, and Sally Abé. Beyond the food, the summer programme is packed with major sporting screenings for the FIFA World Cup, Wimbledon, and the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, alongside live music sessions from Sofar Sounds and live comedy nights.

Throughout June and July, Lost Oasis will open seven days a week, operating from 4pm to 11pm Monday to Friday, 12pm to 11pm on Saturdays, and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays. During August, the venue shifts to a six-day schedule, opening Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, and Sunday for lunch. During the dates of Wimbledon, the site will be open from 12pm to 11pm with live tennis screenings throughout the afternoon.

All public events are ticketed at £10 (excluding fees), which includes a drink voucher and guarantees entry before 8pm. The site will be open to the public on specific nights when there are no pre-bookable special events, with tickets available through partner sites. Organisers strongly suggest booking in advance to secure access to the special activities, exclusive food offerings, and drink activations. Tickets can be purchased at www.thelostoasis.co.uk.

The immersive installation is a collaboration with Cornwall’s famous The Lost Gardens of Heligan and bespoke design company Blue Forest. A series of timber pergola structures will be entwined with bold, exotic foliage, towering palms, and living walls designed by West Sussex nursery Architectural Plants to create distinct areas for socialising. The site will serve as a living garden featuring climbing vines, flowers, and homes for pollinators throughout.

LO Artwork

At the heart of the experience is The Mud Maid Bar, inspired by the signature artwork of The Lost Gardens of Heligan by sculptors Sue and Pete Hill. Nearby, the Cornish Orchard Cider Tree offers a playful twist by inviting guests to pour their own pint directly from a sculptural tree. Tucked beneath the Treehouse, The Whispering Bar provides a more intimate escape dedicated to rosé, wine, and strawberry-led serves. A wide range of drinks will also be provided by brands such as Casamigos Tequila, Chapel Down, Cloudy Bay, DoubleDutch, Edinburgh Gin, Fever Tree, Sipsmith, Taittinger, and Brickell’s Ice Cream.

Tom Grafton, founder of The SHS Collective, said he is delighted to bring Lost Oasis to London to deliver a highly elevated and curated space. He noted that the project is about creating a beautiful outdoor space that transports people somewhere magical over the summer. Sir Tim Smit, co-founder of The Lost Gardens of Heligan, added that the vibrant events space will connect people with the natural world and showcase the essence of what makes Heligan so special.
