Today, it is announced that Hacienda Classical will be joining the spectacular line-up for the 2023 Margate Summer Series.
Taking place on Saturday 26 August 2023, tickets go on general sale this Friday 3 February at 10am via www.margatesummerseries.co.uk.
2022 celebrated 40 years since the legendary Manchester club first opened its doors, with The Hacienda’s cultural legacy spanning decades, as well as generations of fans. Hacienda Classical, formed by DJ Graeme Park, gives a classical spin to the huge anthems which were played at the iconic nightclub. Since it’s very first show in 2016, Hacienda Classical has established itself as a must-see, playing around the UK and far beyond.
Widely recognised as one of the ultimate live experiences in recent years, fans at Dreamland Margate will be treated to glittering orchestral renditions of the much-loved classic club records from those heady, glorious days of the Hacienda that defined a generation. With a live DJ mix, live vocalists and special guest DJs, it’ll be nothing short of a truly legendary party.
Margate Summer Series will also host the Funk & Soul Weekender next summer, along with even more huge headline gigs from Bastille, McFly, Primal Scream and Happy Monday, Olly Murs and The Streets. Tickets for these shows are on sale now.
