Back as one and proving that they are, in fact, family – Sister Sledge will join this year’s Mighty Hoopla line up. Being announced alongside a host of other exciting acts and collectives, the inclusive extravaganza continues to pull out all of the pop stops. Jodie Harsh, C+C Music Factory, Vula, Little Gay Brother and more will all join the celebration of the nostalgic and new this summer at the festival unlike any other.
Mighty Hoopla takes place in London’s Brockwell Park on Saturday 6th June. Tickets start from £50 plus booking fee and are available now at www.mightyhoopla.com.
With a colossal back catalogue of hits including He’s The Greatest Dancer, We Are Family and Lost in Music, the seminal Sister Sledge will bring their electrifying live show to the Hoopla stage for the first time since the festival’s debut! Now in the fifth decade of their incredible disco journey, revellers can expect a full production of party extravagance – and this time Kathy’s back!
Bringing a synth spectacular to Brockwell Park, the collective behind Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) and Things That Make You Go Hmmm…., C+C Music Factory will also join the billing alongside Oh My Gosh Basement Jaxx, pipes for days vocalist Vula and DJ-extraordinaire Jodie Harsh, who’s remixed for the actual Beyoncé.
Garage royalty Artful Dodger will be on hand for the gun-finger throwback alongside the first lady of R&G, Lisa Maffia, who will take to the stage with her glossy catalogue of hits including the one-glass-of-verve-two-shots-of-ice banger All Over and the iconic 21 Seconds.
Joining the party programming legendary London club-night Savage Disco will be whilst revellers can also expect glitter-soaked celebrations from Little Gay Brother and further party collectives to be announced.
