Following an inevitable year out, the pop event of the year has sold out its 2021 comeback edition in record time. With 25,000 tickets now sold for the festival’s return, the Mighty Hoopla team is looking forward to welcoming fans of the festival back to Brockwell Park for a celebration like never before.
Jamie Tagg, Mighty Hoopla co-founder said: “It’s been an incredible response from our audience. Since we went back on sale at the end of January, tickets just went through the roof. We’ve still got lots more acts and surprises to announce, so it’s really amazing to be in the position six months before the event. We can now really focus on making the event as safe and as brilliant as it can possibly be. “
A decision taken with the production team following vaccine roll out timing reviews and rapid testing, Mighty Hoopla was given the go-ahead by Lambeth Council for the later date this January; allowing a Mighty Hoopla the way it should be – all singing, all dancing.
Promising Mighty Hoopla’s greatest edition to date, the festival will host the biggest names in pop and beyond, from the nostalgic to the new, with Cheryl, Becky Hill, special U.S guests En Vogue, Eve, Jimmy Somerville, Betty Boo, Love of Huns presents Katie Price, and an abundance of other wild and wonderful acts, comedians, DJs and parades joining the party of the year.
Ticket Resale
Mighty Hoopla will announce a resale date for any returned tickets ahead of the festival.
NHS
Keeping their previous commitment, an increased allocation of NHS staff were offered free tickets to say a heartfelt thanks for their brave, incredible efforts during this crisis and all year around.
Purchased With Confidence
In the unlikely event that the September event is cancelled due to Covid restrictions, tickets can be transferred to June 2022 or be refunded at face value.
Safety Measures
Mighty Hoopla will of course continue to review guidance issued relating to CV-19 and will ensure every necessary safety measure will be in place for guests to safely attend the event. Full CV-19 mitigation measures for the 2021 event will be made available at a later date.
