Nozstock reveals first acts for 2019

Nozstock is one of the UK’s longest running festivals – family-run, very much home-made and proudly independent on a beautiful working farm set upon rolling hills.

The Nosworthy family continue to curate one of the UK’s finest emporiums of music, arts, food and drink, with a huge focus on keeping all kids and families entertained in the Little Wonderland Kids Area.

It’s a gloriously eccentric, wildly imaginative and decadently off-kilter brain-shift with incredible detail at every turn, a small festival with a very big heart which continues to chart its own path, far away from commercialisation and following the flock. Nozstock is a transcendental experience which creates its own sense of unity and escapism from the real world for a few precious days.

Rudimental are the hottest collective right now and an epic booking for Nozstock. Their DJ sets have festivals and clubs rocking each and every time. Growing up on everything from grime to jazz and blues to hip-hop and house, their party sets are legendary.

Elvana tear through Nirvana’s catalogue whilst splicing in grunged up sections of the king of rock & rolls finest moments, culminating in an audible orgasm of overdrive & old school Rockabilly.

Hollie Cook makes delicious cosmic/tropical pop, Oh My God It’s The Church! want everyone to repent their sins, whilst Henge are a true crossover band fusing musical elements recognisable from electronic dance music, prog and psychedelia.

Next up, King Kong Company’s create a mighty sweat-soaked electronic buzz and The Carny Villains are a six-piece theatrical band known for their raucous blend of stomping swing, ska and Balkan-style folk.

Further acts include Rob Heron and The Tea Pad Orchestra, Swamp Candy, Junior Bill, Stiff Joints and loads more.

With more than two decades at the forefront of electronic music, there can be no question that DJ Zinc is one of dance music’s most respected pioneers. Known for DJ’ing & producing, Turno is not for the faint hearted.

Playing a wide range of tracks from himself and other established artists around the globe, he is one to watch!

A.Skillz is a true party rocker behind the turntables, captivating crowds with his ability to embrace all aspects of music Randall is quite simply the DJ’s DJ.

Over in The Cubicles, Nozstock’s famed bastion of bass-beats once more serves up some of the finest names around.

The summer sees an epic Hospitality takeover featuring some of the label’s biggest and brightest stars, including King of The Rollers, Danny Byrd, Keeno, Unglued, Inja, Carasel, A.M.C, Ed Rush and Benny L b2b Shimon.

The revered multi-style fusionist, serious banger merchant and Octo Pi curates his own stage, bringing Kanine, Remidy MC and Phantom to the festival as part of a Nu: Motive takeover.

Elephants Grave with Sonny Wharton, Dom Kane, Dirty Secretz, Luke Stanger, Left Stereo Right ~ live, Kid Cut, House Meanz House, Data Transmission Takeover, Subwork Takeover, Tenz and Emotion Takeover, whilst on The Bandstand, Sam Brookes, Frauds, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, Rainbow Maniac and Medicine Creek perform.

The Coppice sees the return of the annual psy-trance Tribe of Frog crew, and the fantastical odyssey The Cabinet of Lost Secrets presents mind-bending magic from Henge, Lobster, Inwards, Happy Daggers, Year of the Dog, Punch the Sky, Joe Cook, Beatwell & Dante and the Funky Navigation DJ’s. The Sunken Yard features loads of arts, culture and games, and the Little Kids Wonderland provides weekend-long fun and games for kids of all ages – and all for free.
