One Love / One Sun Festival will return to Bentley Estate, near Lewes in East Sussex, on 20, 21 and 22 August 2027, after coming back to the woodland site in August 2026.
The independent festival still splits into two musical worlds. One Love is rooted in reggae, roots, dub and sound system culture, while One Sun takes crowds into the Bentley Estate woods for electronic music, ambient, acid house, jungle and drum & bass.
Last year’s return brought together generations of artists, DJs and sound systems. The 2026 programme included Luciano, Bushman, Saxon Sound System celebrating 50 years, Admiral Tibet, Little Roy, University of Dub, Jah Tubbys, A Guy Called Gerald, Ray Keith, The Grid, Jagz Kooner, Mixmaster Morris and Chris Coco.
A limited run of Weekend Loyalty Tickets is already on sale for £100, with camping included at no extra cost and completely optional. New Loyalty Day Tickets, without camping, start at £35 for Friday and £45 for Saturday, aimed at people travelling from Sussex, London and the wider South East who want to experience the estate and head home the same night.
Campervan and live in vehicle passes have been reduced to £60 for the weekend, and under 12s still attend free. Organisers are also looking at improved local transport connections for 2027, alongside new experiences, partnerships and site changes based on feedback from this year’s event.
Festival organiser Dan Wiltshire said 2026 was about bringing One Love back and creating something that felt genuinely different. “One Love has this incredible history in reggae and sound-system culture, and we wanted to protect that rather than turn it into another generic festival,” he said. “At the same time, One Sun gave us the opportunity to take people into the woods and explore another part of underground British music ambient, acid house, jungle, drum & bass and electronic music. Those cultures have much more in common than people might initially think. They grew through sound systems, independent promoters, underground spaces and communities creating something outside the mainstream.”
With the 2027 dates confirmed, the team has almost a full year to develop the next edition. The focus is not simply on making the festival bigger, but on building the experience across Bentley Estate, sharpening the contrast between One Love and One Sun, and reaching a wider audience without losing the event’s independent character. The festival previously marked its 15th anniversary in 2023 at Highden Estate in Worthing.
Wiltshire said there were moments this year when you could leave a reggae sound system, follow a path into the woods and suddenly find yourself somewhere completely different. “That sense of discovery is a huge part of what we want One Love / One Sun to become. We’re coming back in 2027 with a full year to develop it, and we’re only at the beginning of what we think this festival can be.”
The first One Love / One Sun 2027 artists, DJs and sound systems will be announced over the coming months, with reggae and sound system culture remaining at the heart of One Love and the woodland One Sun programme continuing to grow. “Festivals shouldn’t have to be all or nothing,” Wiltshire added. “If you want to come and live with us for the weekend, you can. If you’d rather come for a day, experience the music and the estate and then sleep in your own bed, you can do that too. We want to grow the audience without losing the atmosphere that made the return so special.”
