Festival organisers have tonight announced “Parklife 2020 will be revealed next week”, as some retailers closed early-bird tickets sales.
Tickets will go back on sale at some point after next week’s announcement, which we don’t yet know exactly when to expect. Anyone who registers their email on the Parklife website will be given presale access to buy tickets 24 hours ahead of general sale.
The only artist already confirmed for this summer’s Parklife is Tyler, the Creator, who will also headline Lovebox down in London. Parklife will be his first UK festival appearance since the American rapper was banned from the country by Theresa May in 2015, who was Home Secretary at the time.
UPDATE: The morning after this story was published, JME was added to both the Parklife and Lovebox line-ups
UPDATE 2: The full Parklife 2020 line-up has now been revealed.
It’s not known if any of the Parklife student discount offers will continue when ticket sales resume.
Liam Gallagher will play a massive homecoming show at Heaton Park, the same site as Parklife, on Friday 12th June. This is the night before the festival, which Liam headlined last year.
Parklife Festival then takes over Manchester’s Heaton Park on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2020.
