PRESIDENT have announced their debut full-length album, Blood of Your Empire, set for release on 4th September 2026 via Atlantic Records, alongside a 13-date UK and European headline tour this autumn culminating at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
The announcement comes fresh off the back of PRESIDENT’s first-ever full U.S. run supporting Bad Omens, a tour that has already sold out in its entirety. The band have also shared the video for their new single “Doom Loop”, which frontman PRESIDENT describes as being “really about the strange tragedy of time — how we spend our lives chasing it, wasting it, and fearing it — only to realise its value once a moment is gone.”
Blood of Your Empire was written out of a deeply personal place. “The album was born out of my own struggle with existential crisis and trying to make sense of belief, mortality, and humanity’s relationship with faith,” PRESIDENT says. “Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world — but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history. This album lives in the tension between those two truths.” The record’s artwork is Eugène Delacroix’s The Battle of Poitiers, a painting that hangs in the Louvre.
The UK and European tour begins on 1st November in Stockholm and works through major European cities before reaching the UK in mid-November. Cardiff’s Depot kicks things off on 18th November, followed by Glasgow’s O2 Academy (19th), Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse (21st), and Birmingham’s O2 Academy (23rd), before the tour closes at O2 Academy Brixton on 24th November.
