Rizzle Kicks have announced their biggest ever headline show, taking place at Alexandra Palace on Friday 22nd May 2026. The Brighton-formed duo will play the iconic North London venue following their triumphant return to music in 2024 and a string of successful shows throughout 2025.
Tickets for the Alexandra Palace show go on sale at 10am on Friday 31st October. The announcement comes off the back of their new album Competition Is For Losers, which has received widespread critical acclaim. NME called it “a welcome return for the UK pop-rap pioneers”, whilst Rolling Stone declared it “by some distance, their best to date.”
For Harley Sulé, the Alexandra Palace show holds particular significance. “The first football team I ever played for was the Alexandra Palace Broncos. I would go to fireworks night there every single year. I would go ice skating every Christmas,” he explained. “Ally Pally was such a big part of my life and now I get to play there. A genuine dream come true.”
The show represents a remarkable milestone for Jordan Stephens and Harley Sulé, who first burst onto the scene in 2011 with a string of infectious hits. Their debut era produced chart-toppers including ‘Down With The Trumpets’, ‘Mama Do The Hump’ and ‘Skip To The Good Bit’, alongside their Olly Murs collaboration ‘Heart Skips A Beat’, which reached number one in the UK charts.
In 2016, the band entered an indefinite hiatus, with both members citing mental health reasons. Harley spoke openly about struggling with anxiety and depression, whilst Jordan addressed his unhealthy relationship with drugs. The pair returned to the stage last year, marking the beginning of what fans have dubbed the “Rizzle Kicks weather” era.
The term “Rizzle Kicks weather” has emerged to describe the positive sense of nostalgia fans associate with the duo’s music, referencing festivals and summers pre-Brexit, pre-Pandemic and pre-inflation. The band hope to rekindle that energy and carry it forward into 2026 with their Alexandra Palace performance.
2025 has proven to be a landmark year for the duo’s comeback. Following the release of Competition Is For Losers, they performed a series of statement shows, including a monumental date at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl, which sold out and received rave reviews from fans who had waited nearly a decade for their return.
Jordan and Harley first met in Brighton in 2006 and attended BRIT School together before forming Rizzle Kicks. During their initial run, they captured the hearts of an entire generation with their cheeky, irreverent style, performing sold-out tours at venues including O2 Academy Brixton and appearing at major festivals such as Reading & Leeds and T In The Park.
During their time away from Rizzle Kicks, both members pursued individual projects. Jordan has remained in the public eye, recently engaging in conversations around masculinity and mental health through his book ‘Avoidance, Drugs, Heartbreak and Dogs’. Meanwhile, Harley focused on fatherhood and worked behind the scenes as a songwriter, collaborating with artists including Tom Grennan, Celeste and Rachel Chinouriri.
