Ex-Radio 1 DJ and co-founder of the Bestival events Rob da Bank has launched an ‘A-Z of Festivals’ podcast.

The first episode is now available, where Rob travels down to Worthy Farm to record an interview with Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis.

Glasto fans have been eagerly awaiting today’s podcast in the hope that Eavis will reveal new info on this summer’s festival.

Future episodes will include Boomtown Fair, Shambala, Wilderness, End of the Road and some international festivals.

In an Instagram post last week, Rob said: “It’s a mix of news, backstage gossip, hidden secrets and headliner announces and tiny band exposes… If it sounds like your kinda earfood please subscribe”

Rob sparked speculation in early February when he tweeted that he was on a “secret mission” to the Glastonbury site.

GlastoCast, a dedicated Glastonbury podcast series, was launched by three festival bloggers earlier this year and is currently on its fourth episode.

The podcast takes the name of a book Rob released almost a decade ago in May 2009, shown below from Amazon.
